Our Visit to the Islands of North and South Uist
and Benbecula: July 2005.
Construction started 5th August 2005
The purpose of our trip to the Outer Hebrides was to visit Ann's sister, Bobby, and her daughter Sally as well as visiting Ann's mother in North Uist. Bobby and Sally's house is in West Gerinish, South Uist whilst Ann's mother is at Carinish on North Uist. We therefore decided to stay at a hotel in Lionacleit on Benbecula which is about halfway between them and within easy reach of the airport in the main 'town' Balivanich.
Construction of these pages temporally halted due to the sad death of Ann's sister Bobby, on 24 th September 2005
and then Ann's mother on 21 st December 2005.
